Thank you... Even when we got married in 1980 all we had was the Minister and Pianist , the Maid of Honor and Best Man , and Witness that took a few pictures. It was more about the Connection than the Ceremony.

that's the way to do it!

we got married in the courthouse for about $75 and a few taxes and certificate printing fees.

I did splurge on her ring however we both chuckled, it's good for several mortgage payments if we fell on hard times.

after wedding had hotdogs at 7-11 and met some friends at the house we were buying to clean out all the previous renters garbage.

house exceeded appraisal while we were on an abbreviated honeymoon that weekend in yosemite.

retired from the Navy July 1st.

got married, bought a house, and retired from Navy all in about a month's span.

today we have zero debt, roughly $750k home equity, above average savings, and great pensions to look forward to.

I'll be fully retired (1yr 8mo 1wk 2da 11hr) drawing pension at 55 and she'll be 45.

five years later she'll be 50 and start drawing her pension and I'll be 60 drawing my .mil pension

we made a lot of sacrifices up front to get here but sure glad we did now looking back.

all started with meeting a practical woman with good financial sense that shared my ideas and goals.

we couldn't be happier the way things are turning out considering we really did start with close to nothing.

now don't anyone go tellin' Mrs. Bee all that or it might go to her head

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Little buggers aren’t ripping up the garden anymore . Dispatched at least a dozen this week . Usually we have hawks and eagles take care of them but I haven’t seen any in the fields around the yard since spring

We also have a crapload of rabbits but they can’t get through the fence

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

hello dolly!

gonna try dragging Mrs. Bee's rx350 wagon behind the motorhome next month

debated surge vs electric brakes - decided on electric, ordered another prodigy controller for it

have one in my '02 gmc for over 20 years, really like the tunability

and I can also pull my carson car hauler with it if needed

master tow 80THDEB 80" heavy duty

I put the Prodigy P3 in the 72 really like it over the older unit that’s in the 07 Dodge

I debated the p3 but I personally like the simplicity of the p2

gain dial
boost button
manual panic lever
voltage readout

while towing, especially around ca traffic, I don't need anything else to focus on

I can operate the p2 (hopefully functions the same as my original prodigy) without looking at it

I looked at the other p3 features and didn't really see the need for extra buttons

p3 looks like a dandy unit for those utilizing the added features, just not for me

I probably couldn't read the text displays without reading glasses anyways

both p2 and p3 utilize the same accelerometer technology so wouldn't consider anything else

and I'm extremely resistant to change

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Once the p3 is set up you never touch it . Has the same features as the p2 but it just seams to have a smoother brake feel to it while towing . The p2 is a great unit too . Either will do a great job
