That is a story for sure. I have been using Napa crossfire paint for a couple of projects, so i went there and asked for the 1969 gm 507 light blue. when i picked it up it was dark blue. as a happy accident it is the exact color on my longhorn 523 dark blue. so, if anyone wants that color, order the 507!

After a bunch of calling around by the great guy at Napa, I just grabbed my ashtray, looked at the paint chips, and found one that was 97% the same, just a touch lighter.

so i just ordered that up as it would be easy to find again 48796
