68 Golden rubber mat
Was this the mat that came in Goldens ? It’s totally different than the mat that was in my other 68 and 72 . Looks to be like an embossed carpet pattern and it’s gold .

Looks to be a similar style mat that my 68 had in it when I first bought it. My truck was a red interior truck originally and it seemed like this mat was red at one point. It practically disintegrated when I tore the truck down for restoration.

I'm not sure if my 68 Golden even has any of the original floor mat in it. When I bought it in 1980 it had indoor/outdoor carpeting in the interior floor board and in the bed. I should say, what was left of the indoor/outdoor stuff.
I've read here about the factory rubber floormat matched the original body color. My 68 was not in particularly good condition when I bought it... |
