New/Old Build

Here is a pic of my 72 from 94 when I bought it in AZ, so not much rust. Drove it just like this for about 20 years and one day decided I need to build a hot rod. Took it completely apart, body off frame etc. Well life got in the way and that is the way it has been sitting in my garage for the last 10 being used as a storage shelf. Decided to retire in Jan and my wife said " Why don't you get that thing out of the garage and back on the road". Don't have to tell me twice. It will be just a really fun daily driver this time, so not a lot of shine. Since I already have a lot of parts in 15 big plastic bins, going to stick with some of my original plans. Already set up for air ride so just need compressors and a tank. Most of the work is already done to convert to rear disc brakes. Already had converted to a turbo 350 from the original 4 sp. Already converted to a tilt wheel. Already did the big billet wheel thing on other vehicles so this one is getting stock steel rally wheels, 8's in the front and 10's in the rear with derby caps and chrome trim rings. I will need to get a engine since the original 307 was a donor for my sons pickup that he blew up. Have had quite a few offers to sell over years and am really glad I didnt. Never knew how rare original 2 wd are. I will get pics posted as I get it unburied and get started bring it back to life. Now, I know I put the defibulator somewhere.

That is the original ride height on coils. All 2wd were coils with trailing arms, just like the trucks.
