Re: Need help with stuck tranny

Well got the death wheel out and cut enough to get the top off.

Everything top and bottom is pretty gummed up. The gears in the lower half move but the components that slide, don't.

Same with the top cover. Everything is pretty gummed up.

Everything looks complete and nothing looks broken or loose.

What is the best way to get these internal components clean and free? I've heard people talk of kerosene or diesel fuel.
