Re: 1947 Steering Wheel Repair

I am in the process of re ringing my wheel with a 15 1/2" ring. I'm making the entire ring out of PC7. They told me if you mix it 1 part white to 1 1/2 parts black you will get a slightly more flexible product. I'm working my way around to remove all the old crappy plastic so I don't have bonding issues. I wrapped the old wheel in electrical tape before I molded it to make it slightly larger and remove the texture. This also gives me reference marks when sanding.
