I need to chase the screw holes in the floor because of corrosion. Anyone help with the size of screws holding the switch ?

Re: Dimmer Switch Screw Size ?

It Mounts using two #3 Phillips panhead screws with star washers. The screw threads are 1/4-20 x 7/16.

Re: Dimmer Switch Screw Size ?

Thanks fellas ! I removed the switch because it failed. It’s been a while ago, when I went to install the new switch I couldn’t get the original screws into either of the holes. Will get a proper size tap to clean up the threads.
