NEED HELP: At an auction and found a '72
Hey guys. I'm at an auction and looking at this '72 one owner C10. It has underdash a/c, automatic and a 250, 57k miles, and only one spot of rust. What would be a good price to pay? It will either be my son's 1st vehicle or do some minor changes then put it up for sale?
*I'm very familiar with the '60-'66 c10s but clueless on all others. Last edited by Backpayne; 10-19-2024 at 11:44 AM. |

Sorry, can’t help you with value. It’s a nice looking truck though. You would probably get more info on the truck side.

This brings up that old adage --- "It's worth what someone will pay for it.." To me, it's just an old work truck that sat around most of the time.. Kinda beat up old I6, long bed. Lots of stuff is probably going south, like the clutch, brakes, and that old A/C. I'd offer $3500 and see if they'd take it.. Of course you never know..... Someone might come along with a deep pocket and shallow mind, and bid $10K.....
