Can the TH400 solenoid be replaced without removing the pan?
I think the single wire solenoid on my trans is weeping a bit or is the source of a lot of the oil residue on the bottom of the pan and can that be replaced without removing the pan? I was hoping it is a matter of popping the old one out and shoving a new one in with an o-ring or gasket? I did put some dye in my trans fluid to try to verify the leak.

Damn, someone should make an adaptor to be able to put in and then thread one on. I kinda want to have a drain plug in the pan so maybe I will tackle the job.
