Re: Snow Snow go away

We’re finally getting a “normal” winter here . Snow on the ground for a couple of weeks but still in a deficit. Getting more tomorrow and then cold for next week . Last year I was already sugaring and boiling in a short sleeve shirt .

Re: Snow Snow go away

We had snow yesterday, although it's been a pretty dry winter. Yesterday's snow was bad enough that it took my daughter 5 hours to make it home - normally a 40 minute commute.

I woke up this morning and it was warmer than last night. My grandchildren's cute little snowman was just a white smudge on the front lawn.

Yea it's supposed to start warming up here and the snow will turn to rain.
I'll take it.

We got 9" of snow Wednesday and they are calling for another 5" tomorrow. Before that we only had 4.5" all winter..... It was cold and windy here today.

Re: Snow Snow go away

A week or two back we got about 2" of slushy snow. Within the past couple days, barely a dusting. Definitely does not feel like winter so far. High country is looking fairly decent though.

7.5 inches of rain in 48 hours, but no snow! Thank goodness! No longer a fan of the white stuff.

Re: Snow Snow go away

4 inches over night and now it’s 29 with freezing rain. Suppose to get upwards of .50 of an inch of ice. Still have power at the moment we’ll shall see what happens when the 40-50 mph winds start this afternoon.
