Nissan Frontier WT
Id never seen or heard of the designation WT before seeing it here on the board. I had to look it up first time I saw someone post WT.
I was in need of a newer truck but had no desire for a loaded up version. Couple of my friends have maxed out vehicles, one a truck and one an SUV. I just wanted a newer close to basic truck which are so hard to find. Found this one at Car Max. Its set up pretty much how I wanted one. All of what we consider basic these days, air, cruise etc. No power seats or power side view mirrors. V6 with more than enough grunt for anything Ill use it for. I wanted the extra cab for that extra room behind the seat. I wanted automatic and 4 wheel drive. And I wanted the 6 foot bed. Im ordering a few extra bits, bed cover, bed liner, better mud flaps and a side steps for my wife, shes been having back issues so they will be helpful. Ill keep an eye out for some better looking stock wheels, or maybe Ill paint these black, no hurry. Its a 2023 with only 23 miles. Zero problems in its history. It also fell within what I wanted to spend. There were a few other WT styles that I found, but overpriced and more miles than I was comfortable with. I dont drive a ton these days so it should last us a good long time.

I have only had minimal issues with it. I think the WT is labeled work truck. If you keep them serviced, you will not have any trouble with this truck. I have seen these on the road. When I compare the size of mine to this truck, This WT is more of a Normal size truck. Mine is an extra cab also, with I Really enjoy that feature. Mine came with a bedliner and a tow package. I highly suggest getting the bed liner. One regret I have is not getting Seat covers when it was new. ![]() My DS seat is worn were I get in. ![]() It is not a huge deal but. ![]() I did buy Weather tech floor mats for the front and behind the seats when it was new. ![]()

Re: Nissan Frontier WT
I have the bed liner, tailgate liner, and bed cover on the way. I have the side bar with steps and the better mud flaps in my purchase Q. I want to put a few miles on it to see what other things I might want. Seat covers are on my list but man the good ones are pretty expensive. No eating or soda until I get them.
Apparently this was a fleet purchase. When I found it online there were several spread over different CarMax locations, and if I remember they were all under 10K miles. I think in the ad this one was supposed to have two or three K. When I checked it out the odometer read 23 miles, the sales guy was very surprised but the vin matched the ad. When we did the paper work they had to go back and fix the mileage data for the Washington state registration and title. As far as WT label goes youre probably right, I was just going by what the sales guy told us. You know you can trust car salesmen lol

Re: Nissan Frontier WT
There's some cool accessory graphics out there if you want to dress it up abit.
Pro4X hood graphic, and a bedside graphic. Those are two toned black where the design is made with the texture of the print. https://allthingsnissan.com/shop-by-...frontier/2023/ Tailgate letters in black come to mind. K [Edit] I didn't realize the price on those!

Re: Nissan Frontier WT
I miss that from my older (2006) Nissian. I miss the 6 ft bed and don't really need the back seat, just some cab space to thru stuff. Myself, I have never hear of the WT (Work TRuck) designation used on anything but the chevy/GMC. Course I don't have a truck that new, so they may now. I know Toyota has started something like a work truck, but the extended cab has no doors or jump seats, just the sapce. Did they leave Jumpseats and rear doors on yours?

will pick up the grille, headlights, rr bumper and window trim nicely. my '97 k1500 looks a thousand % better with the black rims than the stock silver ones that were on it. i would prob leave the centercaps alone for a slight, nice contrast. as to nissans, never owned one, few friends do and there solid, and my son just landed a job at our local nissan dealer, pay is excellent and they will factory train him to finish his red seal certificate. we will be taking his toolbox down tomorrow, he starts on monday |
