How low?
At what point in lowering my truck should I have to worry about c-notching the frame?
72 lwb coils springs. Todd

4 inches? That's it?
Well that's no good. I was wanting to do a 5 inch drop in the back. Guess I'll have to limit it to 4. Todd

There are a ton of people running around with 4/6 dropped trucks and NO C notches.

Cool! 4/6 drop, here I come. I figure that since I'm going to have the whole front end tore apart anyway, I might as well drop it too.

Todd, didn't you see me green truck?
It had 6 inch rear drop and no c-notch. It never bottomed out once in the year I drove it. Not once. Call ECE and they'll tell you everything you need to know about lowering one of these trucks. Their 6 inch rear kit is complete down to the last nuts, bolt, and widget.

CCPs bolt in C-notch is pretty cheap. And if you have access to a welder, using a peice of 4" well casing is an option. My freind did this and it turned out good.
