Wheels look better now.
I had been dreading stripping the clear coat off of these wheels, but it went pretty good. I used a heavy duty paint stripper and about six tubes of elbow grease and it came off without toooo much of a fight. I don't really care for these wheels-gonna have ralley's someday-but until then, these may as well shine.

And about 2 hours later...
You can see the reflection of the valve stem.

If you have the clearcoat off its time for some California Customs oxidizer and purple polish. You would be amazed.

Yeah, I need to get something on them. Just for now, I sprayed some of the wife's hairspray on them. She's gonna be mad when she finds out I used it all.

I take it you live in a "dry" area? Hairspray, that is a new one. Why not go ahead and clear coat the wheels? If you go for the Ralleys, I think only the 3/4 ton has the six lug you will need unless you change over to five lug.
