Gas filler modification

Ive been batting the idea around for a while, take the little flipper thing from a later GM gas filler and graft it into a 60-66 filler. So when i was cleaning out my dads stockpile of parts i cam across the filler from our Blazer. Asked him if i could have it and he said sure, so i started plotting how i was going to cut the the old filler to add the flipper in when i realized that, when trimmed a little bit,the flipper fits inside the the 60-66 filler. So i welded it in and this is what i got.It looks deep in the photo but its only set in there an inch.
