Redneck overhaulin' - My 72 SG progress
After a year and a half on thinking about my 72 Sierra Grande, I finally took some vacation and went to dad's shop and 'got er done'. I had 4 days to swap the tranny/transfer case, replace brake lines, weld in a new cab floor, and get it all back together.
Here are some pics: Day 1 - remove the body, engine, and tranny. Install a 700R4/NP208 and relocate the engine 3" forward:
