well i finally bit the bullet and ordered some new wheels for my truck. Got 22" centerline smoothies.

ordering the disc brake conversion with drop spindles tomorrow so I can lay these out with out a problem.
Going to order the conversion from pauls GMC because they seem to have the cheapest price. If any one responds
to this before tomorrow afternoon, do you know where I can get a cheaper drop spindle/ disc conversion.
If not no problem.

the wheel is 22x9.5 with a 5inch backspace. got them straight from centerline.

got it like a week ago and put them in in about an hour. Still have the stock master cylinder though. Stops like the drums did with the stock master. ordering a wilwood master in about a week. Staying manual though. Im not cool enough for power anything.

god damn it! I opened the boxes and and the polish had some blemishes in it so I called centerline and they are going to send me a new set of wheels. Will post some pics of the wheels in alittle bit.

new news. Got two of the wheel polished out so only two need to get replaced. Then I was all happy until I went to go see what they looked like on the truck. Pulled the old 22 off and put the new smoothie on (just rim). Well should I say tried to put the smoothie on. It would not go on. I finally took out the center cap from the wheel and it went on. The stupid people at centerline assured me that the wheel would fit but they were wrong. Now I will have to machine down the rotors for the cap to fit over. I will see what centerline says about it tomorrow.

Well I was going to machine my rotors down to make them fit. Since the only other smoothies I know of are intros that are $3600. I talked to centerline today and they said that they will take them back and refund me all my money. I guess I am on the look out for other wheels now. Im not mad really that they didnt fit right now. The guys I talked to at centerline were very nice. I think I will just go back to looking for a simple 5 spoke like I was looking for before I found the smoothies. but i guess i will sleep on it and decide this weekend.
