PopSci May 1970, Suburban vs. Travelall vs. Wagoneer
I've been searching through the recently digitized Popular Science articles on Google Books and came across this gem from the May of 1970 issue. It's a side by side comparison of three popular wagons, or as they called them "Family Cars on Truck Chassis".
Who knew a C10 Suburban with a 307 could achieve a blazing 17.6 second 0-60 with an equally strained 60-0 braking distance of 177' 8"? http://books.google.com/books?id=8QA...age&q=&f=false Enjoy.

Love the picture and caption on page 38. "Travelall turned in the fastest time in high speed lane change, always remaining in balance and responding with precision- and alacrity- to the drivers commands."
That thing has some serious body roll. As my dad would say, 'they don't make them like they used too!' Thanks for posting.
