Upper bump stops - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

This might sound like a stupid problem but I just bought a set of upper bump stops for the front suspension of a 77 and I can not figure out how to install them. What is the trick?

Sorry it took a little while. Here are some pics of the bump stops and upper control arms. The first one is the top of the upper control arm and the second is the bottom and the last two is the bump stop.

EVERYTHING slides in easier with a little lube
