Vortec Heads and headers
Im curious if I am going to have trouble getting headers for a 79 2 wheeler
that I am goin to be using 062 vortec heads on. Do they use a standard header? I have a set of summits in attic I would like to use them. Anyone had troubles? |

Re: Vortec Heads and headers
We just finished swapping a set of vortec on a buddies truggy with the propane. Used our old headers with no problems.

Re: Vortec Heads and headers
New intake is all you will need, regular SBC headers will work fine.

Re: Vortec Heads and headers
They will bolt up just fine. Used the same headers that were on my 305 on my 406.
