1/2 ton to 3/4 ton backing plate??
The conflicting info on this is crazy!!
I have searched disc diameter and the 1/2 ton is roughly 11 3/4 and the 3/4 is 12 1/2. Do any of the half ton backing plates work for the 3/4 ton swap?? Some say no some say yes. The calipers are the same p/n. Peterson's did an article and said you can reuse the backing plates. I will link it below. My 77 has mint backing plates I would like to reuse if possible. Any input would help Link to one article claiming you can reuse the 1/2 stuff http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/howto/3084/photo_08.html
