Friday Night Score

When you're in your late 30's married with kids, this is considered a Friday night score.

Been looking for a decent visor locally for a while and picked this up for $200. Other than the old paint, it's nearly flawless, even all the screws look original. A lady had it left over from an estate sale and she wouldn't budge off the price, but I was ok with it. She threw in some chrome SBC valve covers which won't fit my center bolt heads but hey, they'll either look good hanging on the wall of my garage for the next 50 years or maybe I can get a few bucks out of them.

Only problem is the passenger’s side mounting area. The door shuts tight against the jam and I need a little room for the visor mount and the screws that hold it on. I tried loosening the door hinge but the holes look round so I couldn't get it to pull out. I guess you need to file those holes oval? Guess I'll have to do a little research on how to adjust doors.
