Does a 2.5/4 drop need the exhaust tucked ?

Just wondering if I need to tuck my exhaust for my upcoming 2.5/4 drop ?

I'm getting ready to start my chassis rebuild (sandblasting etc. on my ground-up resto) and if I need to tuck my exhaust I of course want to do the main cross-member mod (4" holes and pipe install) before I blast, paint and reassemble...

I want to keep this all-original truck as factory as possible, so I'm looking for some input/opinions (before I go cutting holes and making mods I don't really need).
