I am a big fan of Lares Steering gear,, (they answer the phone and know what they are talking about)

If you buy new it has a lifetime guarantee. (cheaper from summit)
I have used them on the last 4 builds and all were perfect.

Re: steering box?

I just replaced my manual steering gear with a Borgensen #800132 power box, and man, what a difference. It’s big $$$ but so far it’s been worth every penny. 12:1 ratio so very quick steering. How it would feel compared to a stock ratio power box, I can’t say, but compared to the 20ish:1 manual box it’s a dream. 3 turns lock to lock.
