Kick panel speaker pod differences

Hi everyone.

I am in the process of getting some sound in my '67 c10 (Kenwood head unit, kicker 8" hideaway powered sub, 400w amp for 2x 3.5" speakers for the center dash and 6.5" in kick panels so ordered panels and infinity speakers from Classic Auto Sound https://www.classiccarstereos.com/in...html?rrec=true.

They came in really quickly so no complaints there. I was bummed to see there was no angle to the pod though. Basically it looks like the LH speaker would shoot straight at the RH speaker.

Are there any issues with this? I am not an audio expert, but assumed you'd want it shooting towards your chest/head area for mids. Looks like Retro Sound makes kick panels as well that are angled. https://www.retromanufacturing.com/p...nt=20835567363
Am I better off going that route?

Any help or feedback greatly appreciated.
