hey guys,
The speedometer on my 78 just stopped working the other day. I was messing with the instrument cluster and when i put it back together and drove down the road the speedometer quit working. When i start to slow down i can here noise coming from behind the speedometer. do you think it could have come apart a lil bit. cause it sounds like it is just not meshing up with the speedometer itself. What yall think?

Its possible...it has to be pushed on while pushing on the holding tab on the back of the speedo cluster. Its a pita!! best to do when the dash pad is off and you can access the back of the speedo.
