WTB 68 Dash cluster w/tach, Vac

wanting to buy a 68 dash cluster with an 8k tach and Vacuum gauge.
I know there are members here that restore or build them.

Re: WTB 68 Dash cluster w/tach, Vac

I hadn't noticed your post here, so thank you for reaching out to me via PM. Below are a couple of photos of the gauge cluster that I will use as the foundation for your cluster. It has an impressively low amount of rust for a factory cluster. Here's what I will be doing to it:

1) Convert to 8k tach. I have ordered a Counterpart 8k tach from NPD.
2) Install a custom 8k decal and a VACUUM decal on the factory lens. Here's a video.
3) I will be using a CNC router to cut the tach mounting features in the back tin. Here's a video.
4) Convert to vacuum gauge. I have ordered a Counterpart brand vacuum gauge.
5) Add formed openings in the front tin like the factory units had. Here's a video.
6) Install a new 67-68 style front bezel
7) Install a new rear flexible circuit
8) Paint the OE gauge needles
9) Test all OE gauges to ensure they are functional and accurate. The odometer will be set back to zero
10) Test all bulbs

Here's a photo of another 8k/vac cluster I built earlier this year.
