Solid motor mounts
Hello all,
I have done some searching and can't seem to find any solid motor mounts for my 65. I have the stock type single bolt towers. Does anyone know of a company that makes them? Thanks for any help |

Re: Solid motor mounts
You could always do a motor plate instead of solid mounts. Otherwise they wouldn't be hard to make for that type of mount.

Re: Solid motor mounts
I belive I bought that one from Barnett Performance in Atlanta, but Summit or Jegs carries them. Cost about a $100. They come as a big rectangle, but with the timing cover cutout and cutout for the waterpump. You cut it to the shape you want. They actually make them in several styles. I used a mid plate too between the motor and transmission, but I don't think I'd do that without a cage in the truck. I've had several friends run the motor plates only and never had problems.
