65 C10 with CPP's Big Brake kit on the front, issues with brakeline length.

Hey fellas, i have a Bagged 65, with a 2.5 drop spindle and CPP's big brake kit, problem i am running into now is the rubber brake line off the crossmember to the calipers are pretty damn long. does anyone have a method of insuring they don't get caught between the upper control arm and the crossmember or rubbing on the tire? Sorry i don't have a picture, i'll take one when i am at the shop tomorrow.

Hmm, are you able to fasten a rubber type hose clamp to the frame or crossmember to keep it out of the way?

Gumby, I had the very same problem with my build. After a great deal of research I came up empty handed. I even tried reaching out to brake line manufacturers to see if I could get a couple of custom made brake lines to no avail. The answer that I found was to re-index the position of the brake hose where it bolts onto the caliper. To do this I had to grind away the caliper index lug (that lug that positions your brake hose to the caliper) and rotate the brake hose in the manner shown. It is now short enough and does not bind. Right wrong or indifferent it is the only way I could find. Hope this helps.
