250 CID Rear Main Seal
I just developed a rear main seal leak on my 66 C10, (250 six cylinder) and I have been unable to locate any parts places that have the seal in stock.
Can anyone provide me with any leads as to where I could find one? (I have called all the major chains and even called a few of the manufacturers with no luck.) FelPro BS13241 or Victor JV728 are the part numbers that seem to be correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated... |

Re: 250 CID Rear Main Seal
JEGS.com, SummitRacing.com, Amazon.com, and Auto Zone appear to have FelPro BS13241 in stock.

Re: 250 CID Rear Main Seal
Unless you need it yesterday, might be a good time to put together a whole list of seals and gaskets for your engine. Could be a good time to freshen it up with some new paint as well

Re: 250 CID Rear Main Seal
Thanks for the replies, but all the places that have been suggested have been contacted and even though they show that it is stocked it is not.

Re: 250 CID Rear Main Seal
Thanks to all that have replied...Olson's Gaskets out of Port Orchard, Washington had the seal in stock and shipped yesterday. (Pricey but worth it.)
