95 Climate controls
There's a special place in hell for people who destroy the climate controls in 95 trucks at the junkyard.

Re: 95 Climate controls
Are the 95 different than the 96-98?
Just curious as we have a 95. |

Re: 95 Climate controls
I took the cliamte control out of my 99 Suburban, that was a mistake. The plastic is so damn brittle the clips just snapped right off immediately. Plastic welded them back on hope that holds.

Re: 95 Climate controls
Jeepwm69 - yes, the unit is only good for that year. The dash connector changed in 96, so only 95 controls will swap. 1995 was a changeover year, so new interior but old drivetrain = bastardized wiring and electronics. Yet I own 2 of them...

Re: 95 Climate controls
Good to know. Our 95 currently has non-working A/C, and the dye I put in hasn't shown up anywhere, so it's either under the dash or I've got a problem other than a leak (my guages are falling apart so I need to get new ones before I troubleshoot any more).
I'll be extra careful messing with the dash controls. |
