CL find - not mine - wheels

Looking for wheels (6 lug) for my 67 c10 and I came across this deal. Not what I'm looking for, but looks like an awesome deal:

Are the hubcaps rare/desirable?

Smokin deal is right , those are original 1966 only hubcaps , not aftermarket hubcaps.

Maybe a bad balance job or maybe why he is getting rid of them. If I was halfway close I would look at them. Caps look awesome.

Re: CL find - not mine - wheels

Whenever you see staggered wheel weights, it shows an inexperienced installer. Proper method is to mark the tire and rim, rotate the tire on the rim 90* and try to balance again. If the situation continues scrap the tire or wheel.

I recently had some Kumho tires mounted, one actually has no weights at all, runs smooth.

I worked at a tire shop when I was a kid mounting, balancing and installing and I never heard of this. It makes sense though. I had plenty of cheap cars with cheap tires need weight all over the place. Never had a complaint about tire shake!

I'm looking for tires, likely Michelins. Those Michelins. Why can't this guy NOT be 3,000 miles away?
