Some STACKS pics

Got the stacks installed this morning. I just have to mount them to rack up front so they don't wiggle around and we're ready to rock. Took it for a small cruise with the stacks on and it sure quiets it down in the cab THANK GOD!! At idle it made your ears vibrate with no tail pipes on it Enough blah blah, here are some pics

Yeah we have a set of flappers for them but Tim forgot them at the shop. He's hoping to put some flame throwers in the tips next spring so the flames will shoot straight up in the air

Yeah it's cool Don. We're getting waved at and thumbs up from people we don't even know. That makes all the headaches worth while.

I like it...............May I ask why you didn't use Chrome pipes with the bend at the top like on an 18 wheeler? We have a makeshift stack on my brother's C-10 so we wouldn't catch fields on fire driving out to make repairs on farm machinery............It sounds awesome on a straight 6!

I ain't stackin' mine until I put a 4-71 Detroit in it

Thanks for all the compliments guys. The pipe is 14 gauge 3 " aluminized pipe. I wanted aluminzed because you put the aluminum polish to it and she shines up like chrome. I also have to install the 3" tractor flappers on top for that ting ta ting ting ta ting sound at idle, plus it'll keep the rain out. The mufflers were made at Minute Muffler and are called Sweet Talkers. They are similar to the Cherry bombs only these don't *snap* it's more of a rumble. here is a pic of them

I missed this one

There is a half rack on it right now bud. You can see it best in pic #3. I need to make up some mounting brackets for it this week.

Oh and Andy, welcome back bud. Do you still have the flat black turd or did you end up selling it? Did you get any flames done on it?
