Replacement floor humps
The last owner I guess, cut the floor in my truck so he could use a floor shifter, I was wondering if the floor itself pulled out or what... Do they make patch panels for the floor?

If he cut it in the normal area for a floor shifter, on the hump, you can just get a replacement hump. The hump just bolts in. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a used hump on this board.
Hmmmm, sorry guys, that last sentence didn't sound so good.

A couple more that may not sound to good...
two types of humps Bolt in humps are the "high hump". "low hump" is part of the floor. Unknown if and how much trouble to make a high fit on a low. "High hump" was on the 4WD trucks and on Big Block trucks. (May be a few other cases, but I think that is the main ones)

If you have a high hump then it bolts in, otherwise you have a low hump

May take a picture of the damaged area and post it on the parts board. Some one may have a truck they are cutting up, and can get you a patch panel that you can trim and weld in place.
Here's a link for some high humps that are/were for sale. Did not read all to see if they were sold, but will let you see what a High hump looks like. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=111727

Sorry guys. I had forgotten that the low humps were not bolt in. I have only owned 4 wheel drives.

if it's a low hump and it's gotb a hole in it from a shifter just take a 18ga piece of metal and weld it in the hole, no real need for a special "patch panel" the slight crown on the metal can easily be duplicated using common hand tools
