How in the heck...
Does the "COLDHEAT" soldering gun work? It's been bugging me ever since I saw the commercial.

yeah, i saw that commercial and just thought it was to good to be true. anybody???? it cant possibly work as well as a real one, right???

Yeah, I agree on the water jet issue - it's definetly some wicked pressure going on! ("as high 60,000 pounds per square inch") I've seen a few shows where they're using the water jet to cut metal! ("Water jets are capable of cutting many industrial materials including stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, aluminium, tool steel, ceramics, granite, and armor plate")

Don't know what the commercial says, I don't pay attention. But according to the following review it heats to 800* real quick, and cools back down.
