I have an older Kodak (DC3400) and have had no problems with it and love it. I'd probably look at a Kodak first if and whenever I need another one.

Looks like some one is getting ready to deck the holder of the camera

I don’t know the stats of the camera but for the memory keep any eye on the weekly Staples flyer usually after x-mass they run a sale on the stuff. Picked up some CF cards last year cheaper than I could find them on line any were.

I bought the same CX7300 just a couple days ago. When I loaded the easy share software it gobbled up all my stored pics, enlarged and distorted them, and pi$$ed me off. I hope there is a way I can restore my old pics to their previous status, but I don't know. I bought it 'cause it was cheap and if I wasn't happy with it (and at this point I'm not) I can return it - bought at Sears.

I bought a CX7310 a little over a month ago, and I love it! I haven't used the video feature yet, but mine has no sound as well. I don't like the software that came with it either. It limits you as far as editing pics goes. You can get some pretty good deals on photo editing software on Ebay.
