i`m sure you`ve checked but i think you can get one at any parts store. i`ve never bought one but my buddy has a 60`s impala with a carrier bearing and goes through them alot and he gets his there, hope that helps.

I'm not sure, but when I worked in auto parts, we only had two different carrier bearing assemblies and niether of them looked like that. That one might not be so common.

My 69 GMC had the same setup. I couldn't find the bearing or rubber anywhere. I finally just got the more common, heavy duty horseshoe type and made a couple of spacers so it would line up properly.

I have that same setup myself on my 70 3/4 GMC. I never did find a rubber piece myself but I did get the bearing at bearing store. Its lasted 10 times longer than those junk bearings from the parts store.

My 70 chevy with L-spring rear had the same set up, could get the bearing at Napa but not the rubber. Ended up geting the horseshoe type and a piece of 1"x1" heavy tubing to use as a spacer to get the same drop as the orginal.

Found It
Thanks for the help, yes Advance has the correct bearing PIONEER #646043, has the correct rubber, the metal dust shields have two rectangular raised areas that have to be trimmed but it works.
