2wd 4wd rubber cab mount question

I was looking at new cab mounts for my 67 4wd, and noted they are different part number than the 2wd. I was comparing my 67 4wd mounts to a 70 2wd (both 1/2 ton) and they are the same. The rear mount are both about an inch or so tall. Is the 67 an oddball here too?

I think the only difference in the 67 vs. 68-72 is in the radiator core support mounts. I just cahanged all of mine on my 67 and the cab mount kit was for a "67-72". Everthing worked out fine. I don't know about the 2WD vs. 4WD.

Both of mine are 1/2 ton. So why does my 67 Chevy 1/2 ton SWB 4wd have the same rubber mount at all 4 corners. All 4 are the short type. They are the same as my 70 GMC 1/2 ton SWB 2wd has at all 4 corners? All 8 mounts are identical....short type. Both truck are factory original cabs, frames, etc. Everything I've seen agrees with Rod, but my trucks don't agree.

I am having the same problem with my 67 K10 . The new mounts seem much too high in the back of the cab.It seems like if the mounts were the same as the front cab ones it would sit perfect. Chris

Thanks Chris, I thought I was loosing it again. I agree, mine would be way to high in the rear of the cab with the tall bushings installed. There must be something different about some of the 67's. I was hoping somebody could explain it, but if not I will just use the 2wd 1/2 ton bushings.
