I think I have the cup as you call it. But if I remember correctly, it is too small of diameter to work on a six lug wheel. I assume the cup fits in the center of the wheel and bolts to the carrier. Perhaps it is for a 5 lug wheel?

Looks identical to one from a 1988 Fo#d van. They use a "cup, bolt",& wingnut.
If you have it all bolted together no one will ever know it came off a F*rd!! rwgregory
