I was looking for the same and discovererd they ar enot cheap and most of them at junk yards are bent because they were set down without wheels. Let me know what you find. Tim

I was looking for some a while back, I know American Classic and Early Classic both sell new dust shields. I was fortunate to find some in a junkyard that were in decent shape though.

but had to fish for them anyway. Someone posted that GM parts still sells them for the 73-87 at $15 bucks a piece. I will check tomorrow but sounds too good to be true. I am headed for the Fredericksburg, TX swap meet next weekend and will keep an eye open. I also pick up cheap 73-87 spindles when I find them. If I could figure out how to make thebacking plates I would but probably would be cheaper at $30 a piece. haha

The GM part # is 1450493738 73-87 2wd at a prices of $42.33 each -- makes the $29.99 look better from aftermarket.

might be able to find a pair at pick a part on old 75 in dallas they have a bunch of 73-87 and I mean a bunch. They keep them off the ground so most of the time the plats are good.

I have the disc brake set up, spindle,plates,calipers, disc off a 72 model already off the truck if that helps anyone.. 100.00 for it all

I have a 79 I'm parting out. I'll look this evening and see the condition. If there good how does $15 plus ride sound? If I have them I'll get you a pic to see them before deciding.
