cell phone questions

i got a motorola star tac that has never been used and was wanting to know if i could get one of those phone cards to make the phone work ? its a mci phone if that matters and i dont want service though mci .or is the phone junk and needs to be trashed ?

I had a Star Tac and it was an awesome phone. I think it was an early tri-mode so it might still work. You can't get a "phone card" for it though. Contact your local carrier and see what they say.....

I mean wireless supplier. Call the service provider you prefer and see if it can be used. They were a great phone when they first came out. I think I just threw away a brand new car mount kit for one...

They were a great phone...however theres much better phones today. Yo probably wont be able to get any "phone card" for it.

I would see what there going for on Ebay, sell it there if its worth anything and start service with a cell phone company. They usally have cheap to free phones with a service commitment.

Give the choice of cell phones today I would still go with a Motorola.
