Question 283 small block

Hey all,
Need some help,
I broke a connecting rod bolt last night, When I replace all of them, will the connecting rods need to be re-aligned?
Also, the replacement ones are 11/32", what is the final torque on these. 35 pounds?

Thanks,
Smiley

Re: 283 small block

Anytime you replace rod bolts, they must be resized. Usually only causes a slight misalignment due to different clamp load. New bolts should come with torque specs. Go with a good aftermarket (ARP) bolt, not just a stock replacement. BTW, most machine shops charge $10/rod when installing new bolts/resizing.
