Hello, Can anyone with knowledge in this area give me some helpful info? My 72 had a 4spd. in it and I took it out and put a T400 in. I also put an auto column in. To sum things up I have an automatic column & tranny with a manual transmission wiring harness. What is the best way to wire the neutral safety switch in this situation?

Re: Neutral safety switch wiring ?
Find the purple wire under the dash....it goes to the starter. Cut that wire and connect it to the Park-Neutral switch located on the column. There is also another set of connectors on that switch, they are for the reverse/back-up lights. If you need/want those to work as well, you will need to find that wire too..i dont know the color for that, need to look it up.

Re: Neutral safety switch wiring ?
Okay thanks for the info! I think the reverse wire is the light green wire in the rear harness. Thanks again
