Electrical supplier?
Anybody know where to get those not-really-quick-disconnect wiring terminals? The ones with the tabs on the back to keep you from pulling them out of the terminal blocks.
![]() I've tried all the local auto parts stores, McMaster-Carr, Radio Shack, LMC, Painless, and GM parts direct. No luck. And yes, I'll eventually rewire the whole thing and be done with it, but for now I just want to replace a few bad wires. |

Re: Electrical supplier?
The terminals themselves are available at Napa stores.. I bought a few 10 packs during my latest rewire job. I don't have the part number handy here at work but when I get home tonight I'll post it up if no one beats me to it. You need to go to a parts store where they still have catalogs and people that can read them.

Re: Electrical supplier?
I was wrong, CarQuest, not NAPA. P/N TA708 will get you a 5 pack of GM 56 series connectors.

Re: Electrical supplier?
Looks like he has a headlight switch in his hand, if that is what you are referring to.....

Re: Electrical supplier?
That's the headlight switch.
The Napa part number is 725147. If I'd known what those terminals were called, I could have gotten them the first time around. The parts guy knew what I was talking about, but couldn't find them in the books. |
