Not much more than $200 IMO. Take a look at fleabay, that is a good indicator on what things are worth.

If it is a powr-lok and not a trac-lok, I might be interested in the diff & gears if you could pull & ship them.

On the option sheet it says power lok rear axle. It should be 4.10 gears because it was a big block auto truck.

If you are interested in pulling it, I'll see the guy I would be buying it for tomorrow night & can let you know Monday if we would take it. If so, we can work out the $$$ then.

I would be interested in pulling depending on $$. I just don't need it, but it doesn't take up that much room either.

Re: WIW-72' Dana 60 Power Loc 4.10

Forgot to mention that the powerlock is worth more sepearte than in the axle. A complete axle without the powerlock is worth $50-100 or so. A new powerlock sells for $400+ new. The only bummer with this powerlock is it will have provisions for 16 spline 1.3" axle shafts. It can be made to accomodate 30 or 35 spline shafts with the appropriate side gears. The 35 spline shafts might require the I.D. of carrier to get clearanced to allow the 1.5" shaft to clear.

The carrier break for this carrier is for 3.54-4.10 gears. Good news for guys who want street friendly gears, not so great for those who want offroad gears. They make ring and pinion sets that will allow 4.56 and numerically higher gears to be used on 4.10 and lower carriers.

Re: WIW-72' Dana 60 Power Loc 4.10

btw..if this was a big block then the stock gear ratio would have been 3.54's not 4.10's. Every big block truck except for the C30 motorhome has had 3.54's out back. It is the best ratio in my opinion. You find the right guy and you will get better $$'s than quoted above. The problem in they need to be local.
