holley carb & detent cable hookup
I put a much needed new carb on today. I was able to get the throttle adapter and cable hooked up, but I'm clueless on the detent cable (TH350). As far as I know I may not even have the right cable on there. Does anyone have any pictures of this type of setup? Also, what part #'s did you use for adapters or brackets? Thanks!

I used my stock bracket but spaced it up 1/2 inch.

Re: holley carb & detent cable hookup
I've been looking at detent cables, and I think I may have the wrong one installed. The cable I have has the linkage end that is open. Meaning it can move about an inch or so. I've seen pictures of linkage ends that pop onto a ball type stud that is bolted to the linkage. The one that pops onto the ball seems like it should be the cable that is on my '85, but I really don't know.
