Not so soon!!
It never fails, when I finish a project someone comes by and makes an offer before I really get to enjoy it. Has anyone else had the same thing happen??

Re: Not so soon!!
I had an offer my truck in the rough just a few months after I got it! I had to tell him I just got it and was wanting to enjoy {working on} it!

Re: Not so soon!!
This has happened to me a few times. I started with a 60 Chev truck that I fixed up and traded for a POS 70 Chevelle, that I restored and traded for an ElCamino that got sold for a project Monte Carlo, that I sold to buy a 69 Chevelle SS that I almost had finished when my bro in law talked me into trading for his 68 stepside. That's the truck that got me into these 67-72's. As soon as I finished that truck, it was gone, but made way for another Chevelle project, which led to another truck once that was finished, which I sold so I could buy another Chevelle. No wonder my wife is so confused! But yeah, part of it was me deciding I needed a truck, or wanting another Chevelle, and part of it was someone else talking me out of them once I put my heart and soul into them. I've had several offers for the Chevelle that I have now, but in 2001 when I bought the project, I promised it to my daughter who was 6 at the time. She's held me to that promise over the years!

Re: Not so soon!!
I grew up in southwest NY where rust was REAL bad on vehicles. I bought my 67 off my uncle who brought it up from SC in 96. It was originally from Texas. My dad and I primed it with a black primer sealer and it looked real nice back then. I got offers left and right to buy it. I actually got tired of telling people "it's not for sale"
![]() The truck was my DD and the only other 67-72's I saw back then were complete rust buckets. I get a lot of compliments now that its "done" but no offers to buy yet ![]()
