Re: Slam bump ?
The RE7s are a good choice. They do have an internal stop but it is always recommended to run an external bumpstop.

Re: Slam bump ?
Hey diesel
Did you go behind your axle, in top, or on top of your spring ? Are you notched ? (My dad and I are interested in bag'n his dually, but only if we can still haul heavy loads) So do you think I should run RE-8's on the rear ? This is all the info I have found that tells what weight slams can handle RE-6 Replaces a firestone 255c or contitech 2500# bag. (Front) RE-7 Replaces a firestone 224c or contitech 2600# bag. (Rear) RE-8 Replaces a firestone 2800# bag. (Rear duallys) Last edited by Spray-Bomb; 04-17-2007 at 12:08 PM. |

Re: Slam bump ?
But should I run 8's or 7's on my truck, I plan to tow my Ditch-Witch R-30 trencher nearly every day (It weighs about 4,400 lbs, plus a trailer)

Re: Slam bump ?
For a light duty driver you need LIGHTER bags in back then front.
