I know this has been talked about several times but my story is different. I will try to make this story short. About 15 years ago I bought a running 396 I don’t remember what all I was told but it doesn’t matter. I took the 327 out and dropped this one in. I finally got it running right or at least better only to gernade a piston. It of course died or was shut off immediately. It put a gouge in the cylinder wall when I opened the oil pan it had antifreeze in it. Anyway I got it from my folks over the weekend and ran the number to find out it is a 402 out of a 72 pickup. The guy I got if from had it in a nova I think. Anyway what should I do? My 327 runs pretty good. Can this be sleeved and will it work have you ever done this?
Just wanted to share a story and a question from my youth. Thanks! Dave
