Got my hood back today!! Had the stripes painted in a different variance of the same color. Hood fits nice and looks killer!! Also put the bed cover from Film Guy on. What do you all think?

I like the stripes, Ive always liked rally stripes. I painted some on my flat black & did the patina treatment to them but not sure yet if they will stay. What color is your bed cover? It almost looks grey. I need to find a black one for mine. Looks like yours is finished, you can bring it to me now!...

Thanks everybody! Here are some answers:
KSJH1316: The color is 2006 Impala SS Laser blue metallic. There are two variances of the color. The truck is one, the stripes are the other.
BAD6772: The wheels bolt directly on the 71 and 72 5 bolt pattern. I have done no modifications to the truck or the wheels, and have no clearance issues.
Corn: The cover is black, but in the pics because of the sunlight, it does look grey. I bought it from Filmguy here on the board. I would deliver the whole truck to you, but Redneckgirl would kick my butt, and I dont think you would like the price....lmao

The body shop we use here at work did the stripes freehand with the measurements for the 70-72 Chevelle. He did an INCREDIBLE job!! You cannot see where the stripes are if you look across the hood! Now I just need to give the material to you for my door panels.....let me know when you are up this way and maybe we can meet up.

I wanted something different, but not something that was going to jump out at you. The owner of the shop I had do the work told me he knew exactly what I wanted, and he did it! It is hardly noticable until you are about five feet from it! I haven't gotten the bill yet, so I am not sure what this set me back...........I did take them 2 cases of beer on a few hot days to help soften the damage, I hope.....
