Camaro Fan Install
With inspiration from thishttp://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ad.php?t=50085
thread, I thought I would try to tackle my version of an electric fan install. I purchased a dual electric fan setup from a '9X camaro at a local parts yard for $75.00 and some angle aluminum for $35.00. I am in the middle of doing a motor, transmission and transfercase swap so I already had my front clip off. When I started it looked like this. ![]() ![]() I then cut up some of the aluminum and made the bottom bracket. This was the easy part, as I had never done anything with any type of metal before. When I was done with that it looked like this: ![]() I then started on the top bracket. I mocked up a few different things and finally decided to do a kind of half box to make it look "pretty". After some cutting, grinding, sanding, drilling and more grinding I ended up with this. ![]() ![]() And this is the finished product: ![]() ![]() ![]() I was pretty lucky and found a brand new Be Cool 75117 Dual Electric Fan Wiring Kit (195 on 175 off) on eBay for $79.00 shipped. This kit sells for $149.95 at summitracing. ![]() So once I get that I will wire everything up and be good to go. If I did my math right I am in it for a total of $189.00, which I think is a pretty good price for the full setup. Thanks to this site for all the knowledge and support, I am a total noob and milk this site for all it's worth. P.S.> I will post everything about my swap in a build tread once I get it in and fire it up. ![]()

Re: Camaro Fan Install
That looks good. Ought to cool it just fine. I like the total cost too.
